Red I know very little about OSDS but this one quickly resonated with me. Very well made with segments that carry on slowly while keeping things interesting, placing you into a distant world of many serene and honor fillled moods. Favorite track: Remember the Ancient Woods, Remember the Ancient Ones.

Dark Avenger Mirthquell is a force to be reckoned with - perfect for those who long for a Depressive Silence follow up!

Evergreen With a deep worship of the old-school pioneers, Depressive Silence, Mournlord, Gothmog, etc. this album does not shy away from its influences. Mirthquell rather embraces these influences, bringing a fresh take on the old-school sound. This album bumped its way into one of my favorites this year very quickly.

One of my favorite dungeon synth albums, and I had only heard it a few days ago for the first time. Perfect for drifting off to sleep, but also for driving under the canopy of trees. It is very soft, and pleasant, yet vast at times. The ambient forest sounds are extremely soothing. A wonderful work of art that feels as refreshing as diving into the deeps of a natural, cold spring in the eves of summer. Bjorn
